Better Forum Service - You might want to check this one.

I have done a web search and I have found this other type of forum service which includes more features than forumotion:

It's free and it's a benefit even if it has ads, you can disable post count on certain forums like when a game forum goes out of control and you want to balance it which forumotion (a kind of Phpbb) can't do and without that ability the forum would go out of control since anyone would like to have a higher rank, you can install a built-in arcade with auto-score system (No experience needed), Post Icons (which most forums have) and much more!

Give it a try, I did and I liked it, so I might be planning to move my forum over there as soon as I finish making it.

Don't worry JCL, you can also make an FC system, customize your profile with a custom image, put music on your profile and a lot more that are done by coding.

Sounds like a mouthful, but you can find those custom forum codes on their support forum for SMF use only.

i'm only a mere mod, but i have to say, we should stay here. as good as any other program is, i for one am sick of moving from one site to another. I mean it was annoying enough moving from nintenglazers to here

You have a small point there, but we only moved from there because you could only have 4 affiliates and the forum had all of it's features disabled by default. And it didn't give you the ability to make a custom page...

i think the new stuff is awesome, don't get me wrong. i'm just saying that constantly changing the adress will put people off wanting to join, and will leave a bunch of dead forums just lying around taking up domain space.

Yeah... Just like mine...
1st one died, no one liked Chao that much...
2nd was a Pokemon forum then we upgraded to a Nintendo forum by changing the forum name and address, but it's still on the same place.

yup, my site met an unfortunate end. it has a fair few members, but no one ever posts . i am currently trying to do CPR on it and bring it back. the link's in my sig if anyone's interested

Mines on this sites portal page, JCL never announced it and now it feels lonely...
So I'm moving to SMF since it has an arcade and many more settings to make my members feel more comfortable

when it's moved, could i have the adress?

well JCL my forum keeps getting messed up and i have to edit it again i might move mine there.

i'm doing it. I have to renew my pokemon site. It is dead.

i kinda like the new site.i registered,but how come there are no post in just about all of the forumns.i like this site better,but thats just me
